Three civilians killed in Saudi shelling of Hodeidah

At least three civilians were killed and three others were wounded as a result of shelling launched by Saudi-led aggression forces on several areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a security official said on late Thursday.

According to the official, the aggression forces fired missiles and artillery shells at Durayhimi district, leaving three women dead and a man, two children and a woman wounded.

Earlier, an 18-year-old girl was killed as a result of the aggression’s mercenaries’ shells in Al-Hali district.

A source in the Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room, which monitors violations of the Stockholm Agreement in Hodeidah province, recorded 170 violations by the Saudi-led coalition forces over the past 24 hours.

Among the monitored violations were the creation of new combat fortifications in al-Jabaliya area and the flight of two warplanes over Al-Jah area and Hays district, according to a source in the operations room.

The violations also included the flying of 11 spy planes in the airspace of al-Tuhayat district, Al-Jabaliya and Al-Jah areas, in addition to 69 breaches by firing 948 artillery shells and 87 breaches done by gunfire.
