Yemeni drone strikes hit Khamis Mushayt airbase again

The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out fresh drone attacks against Saudi warplanes hangers’ at Khamis Mushayt base in Asir region on Sunday, the Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

The  Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e confirmed that the air forces were able to attack aircrafts’ hangers at the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushayt.

He indicated that that attack was carried out by two Qasef-2K drones, conforming that the attack hit the designated targets with high accuracy.

Sare’e added that “The attacks come in a retaliation to the enemy’s airstrikes escalation and its ongoing siege of Yemeni people.”

On Saturday, the Yemeni Air Force had conducted three massive attacks on military targets at Jizan and Abha airports, as well as on the Khamis Mushayt base.
