Iran’s ambassador to Sana’a, Hassan Irloo, has offered his condolences on Tuesday to the Yemeni people and family of Minister of Youth and Sports Hassan Zaid, who has been killed in an assassination operation carried out by criminal elements in the capital Sana’a.
In a tweet, he expressed his deep regret at the death of Minister of Youth and Sports.

He condemned the assassination, calling it a “cowardly act”.
This is the first statement made by the newly-appointed Iranian ambassador after he had submitted his credentials to Yemen’s Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf Abdullah as as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the Republic of Yemen.
