At least one civilian killed and four wounded in latest Saudi bombing of Sana’a

At least one civilian was killed and four others were wounded, as an initial toll of the latest airstrikes attacks carried out by the Saudi-led coalition warplanes on the Yemeni capital Sana’a this morning, the Health Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry condemned the aerial attacks, which targeted densely populated areas such as Attan, Al-Hafa, Ayban and Al-Nahadin in the capital Sana’a, adding that the airstrikes caused panic among residents and terrorised and frightened many.

The statement held the Saudi-led coalition responsible for the consequences of these criminal operations, both in terms of immediate casualties and future health problems amongst citizens.

The Ministry called on the UN and its envoy to condemn these irresponsible and criminal acts.

It also called on the international community and humanitarian organisations to condemn these crimes and seek to lift the Saudi blockade of Yemen as well as the aggression that has been going for around 2,060 days already.
