Twenty-five mercenaries, including high-ranking officers, defect to defenders of Yemen

The National Center for Receiving Returnees had on Thursday received 25 military personnel who defected from the Saudi-led coalition and returned to Sana’a, including three commanders of the so-called Al-Aroubah 3rd Brigade in al-Khuba area.

Intelligence officer of the Brigade, Colonel Ahmed Abbas Al-Sada’aei, his deputy, Lieutenant Colonel Ammar Musleh al-Harbi, and manpower officer Mahfouz Abdo al-Madeh, arrived in the capital Sana’a and offered their services.

The defectors noted the spirits of coalition forces and their mercenaries has collapsed, after they suffered repeated defeats and inability to withstand the Yemeni army forces and Popular Committees.

They praised the position of the state leaders in the capital Sana’a in receiving the returnees and giving them amnesty, which reflects the level of responsibility towards the country and its people.

The defectors also renewed the call to all those who are still in the coalition ranks, to take advantage of the amnesty decision and to join the defenders of Yemen.
