A powerful explosion rocked downtown Nashville, Tennessee on early Friday, with no injuries reported so far, US media reported.
The Office of Emergency Management confirmed to the media that a bus that was left in the city center exploded at 6:30 in the morning, causing damage to a number of buildings in the neighborhood.
The office indicated that teams that rushed to the site of the accident are currently assessing the extent of the damage caused by it, but confirmed that there have been no reports of injuries so far, nor suspicions that the accident was caused by a deliberate actor.
The Nashville Fire Department has urged citizens to stay away from the scene, while police confirmed that FBI investigations are underway .
