Gas station security guard killed in Ma’rib

A guard of security forces affiliated with Islah Party, was killed at a gas facility in Ma’rib province, northeastern Yemen.

Sources said that a tribal gunman from Jawf province, after he was prevented from entering the gate of the gas facility, took out a Kalashnikov weapon and fired at the guard and the gas tanks, killing a guard named Abdulsalam al-Hashi.

Marib province is witnessing a state of terror, fear and widespread chaos in light of the spread of robbery gangs and assassinations, despite being nominally under control of the Islah militias loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.
