A Sudanese military plans has crashed on Wednesday in the state of Gedarif, which borders the state of Ethiopia, Sudanese sources reported.
The military sources said that the plane was carrying weapons and ammunition, and completely burned down, although its crew survived. The statement did not reveal the cause of the crash.
The incident coincides with the penetration of an Ethiopian military plane into Sudanese airspace, in a move that may herald a new escalation of the existing tension between the two countries, according to the Russia Today media channel.
