Yemeni Media Union condemns US designation of Ansarullah as “terrorist organisation”

The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) on Tuesday condemned  the US designation of Ansarullah as a Foreign Terrorist Organization in Yemen, while the American actions in several countries across the world would make the American regime and all its personnel at the top of the global terrorism, as its policy has affected most of the countries in the region.

In a statement, The YMU considered the decision that targets the largest Yemeni and national component defending sovereignty, freedom and independence, as a step that supports Saudi-led aggression coalition to occupy Yemen, plunder its wealth and enslave its people.

It emphasized  that the victories of the army and popular committees and their achievements in the military field and on the battlefields, including the victory of the national media and the resistance made the American regime to classify Ansarullah as a terrorist movement aiming at distorting it in front of the international community.

The YMU praised the role of national media institutions and free media professionals in exposing the crimes and violations of the American-Saudi aggression coalition before the international community and the peoples of the world.

The union called on all international organizations and associations working in the field of rights and freedoms to put pressure on the forces of the aggression forces to break the Saudi-led blockade imposed on Yemen and allow them visit the country to familiarize themselves with the consequences of the crimes caused by siege and aggression against the people of Yemen .

The Yemeni Media Union affirmed that the US designation of Ansarullah as a terrorist movement strengthens their rightful position, because the American system is known for its hostility to the people.

The union further called on the international community, peoples and organizations, to adapt the Yemeni cause and to condemn the blockade and brutal aggression which is being subjected
