Car bomb kills six in Turkish-occupied Syrian city

Six civilians have been killed and more than two dozen others wounded in a bomb attack in a Turkish-occupied city in Syria’s northern province of Aleppo, the state media reports.

The deadly incident occurred in al-Sinaa neighborhood in Afrin city on Saturday, when an explosives-laden car went off, killing six civilians, including three children, and wounding 25 others, Syria’s official news agency SANA reported, citing civil sources.

The explosion had such magnitude that it inflicted huge damage to nearby buildings, the report further said, adding that one of the wounded was also in critical condition.

Every so often, bomb attacks claim the lives of civilians in towns and cities, which are under the illegal occupation of Turkish troops and their allied militants.
