New ship carrying Yemeni refugees arrives in Somalia

Somali authorities in Bosaso city announced on Wednesday that they had received a third ship carrying Yemeni refugees fleeing the war.

A Yemeni ship arrived at the Somali city’s port carrying 164 Yemeni refugees, most of them children and women.

Earlier, Bosaso city had already received large numbers of Yemenis who fled as a result of the suffocating siege and aggression on Yemen.

The city of Bosaso, in the northeastern Bari province of Somalia, hosts the largest Yemeni community in Somalia, because of its proximity to the Yemeni mainland.
