Unmanned aerial vehicles of the Yemeni Air Force have hit the King Khalid Airbase in the southwestern Saudi area of Khamis Mushait yet again, according to military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e.

According to Brigadier General Sare’e, the Yemeni strikes were carried out by Qasef-2K drones, which are used as unmanned explosive-ridden kamikaze aircraft.

The aerial attack comes as the second strike on King Khalid airbase in two days, after an earlier drone strike took place on Tuesday with the same aircraft. Representatives of the Yemeni National Salvation Government and the Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly stated that retaliatory strikes on Saudi targets both in Yemen and in Saudi Arabia proper will continue as long as the Saudi-led invasion and siege continues.
