New Yemeni drone strikes hit Abha Airport in Saudi Arabia

The Yemeni Armed Forces have on Thursday carried out a new drone attack against military targets inside Abha International Airport in the Asir region, southwestern Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

According to the Army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, the air force had launched a new attack on Abha International Airport with two drones of the Qasef-2K type, striking military sites inside the airport.

The spokesman confirmed that the drone attacks accurately hit the targets at the airport, saying that “this attack comes in response to the aggression’s crimes and its continued siege on the Yemeni people.”

On Monday, the Yemeni forces launched a drone strike on a sensitive military target at Abha International Airport, using one Qasef-2K type drone.
