Once again, Yemeni retaliation strike hits Saudi airbase

The Yemeni Armed Forces have on Saturday carried out a new drone attack on King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, southwestern region of Asir, the Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

Army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, confirmed that a Qasef-2K drone was used in the attack.

He stressed that the targeting was accurate, indicating that it came within the framework of a legitimate response to the escalation of the aggression and the ongoing siege on Yemen.

On Thursday, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e declared in an earlier statement that the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting important military sites at Abha International Airport.
