Saudi-led coalition fighter bombers have on Thursday launched a series of airstrikes on Hamedan district, northwest of the Yemeni capital Sana’a, a military official said.
According to the official, the coalition hit the al-Lakamah area seven times. No casualties have been reported so far.
Since March 26, 2015, the Saudi-led coalition has been waging a militia campaign against Yemen, committing flagrant violations of several international conventions.
The five-year invasion of Yemen has thus far killed over 10,000 Yemenis and displaced more than 3 million, according to the United Nations.
The Saudi-led aggression has caused the world’s worst humanitarian crisis in the world today.
