Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Sunday that more than 3,000 Moscow residents have so far been vaccinated against Covid-19.
“More than 3,000 volunteers have already been vaccinated against the coronavirus. So far, none of them have any health problems, and they feel well. I have been vaccinated myself, and as you can see nothing has happened to me, even though several months have passed, ” he added
Earlier in Moscow, medical check-ups began for first-time people wishing to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
According to the results of the medical examination, the candidates are selected by doctors, and do not have any contra-indications towards vaccination.
Doctors will monitor the health status of those who have received the vaccine.
The Covid-19 virus has infected over 32 million people worldwide, and so far has caused over 995,000 casualties.
