Yemeni port cities call for end of Saudi naval blockade on occasion of World Maritime Day

Yemen’s Red Sea Ports Corporation has celebrated World Maritime Day, coinciding with the passage of 2,000 days of Saudi-led aggression and the continuation of steadfastness in the face of aggression.

In the speech event held on this occasion, on Sunday, Hodeidah deputy governor Abduljabbar Mohammed praised the pioneering role played by the YRSPC, despite the direct and systematic targeting it has been subjected to by the aggression coalition.

Mohammed emphasized that the aggressors directly target the national economy on which more than twenty million citizens depend.

He deplored the silence of the United Nations and the international community, which remains unable to implement the international agreements on maritime transport.

The deputy governor pointed out that 2,000 days of the aggression has formed a steadfastness front of the Yemeni people of all different classes, who have thwarted the plans the aggression coalition.

After each hostile operation by the aggression coalition, the Corporation and its employees were able to continue providing their services and performing the tasks and responsibilities assigned to them, he added.
