Yemeni migrant workers shot in Saudi Arabia

At least two Yemeni workers were seriously wounded when a Saudi citizen shot them in their workplace in Saudi Arabia.

Surveillance cameras documented the moment when a Saudi citizen opened fire at Yemeni workers in a workshop for cars.

The camera showed the Saudi stopping his car and getting out of it, shooting and chasing the unarmed workers in a factory, until his bullets ran out.

Migrant workers in the purportedly modern society that Saudi Arabia has become, continue to suffer extreme forms of labour exploitation akin slavery-like conditions. Workers’ protection laws and regulations are nearly non-existant in the Wahhabi kingdom, and serious racism against non-Saudi citizens is widespread.
