Doctors at Hadhramaut hospital threaten to quit in protest against misdeeds of occupation force

Doctors at Ibn Sina Hospital in Mukalla city have announced a collective resignation due to the fact that the occupation forces are not responding to their human rights demands.

Medical sources at the hospital, one of the largest government hospitals in the city, said that about 110 doctors and health workers intend to announce their resignation on October 1, 2020.

The sources added that the decision to resign came after a strike and a series of protests over the past three months to demand financial and employment rights.

The sources explained that the decision to resign collectively came due to the delay in implementing the directives issued to address their demands.

The city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut province, has been the scene of continuous protests over the deterioration of services and the collapse of the currency.
