An Emirati ship has arrived on Thursday in a port of the Yemeni Socotra Island, carrying an unknown and suspicious cargo, a local source reported.
The source suggested that the shipment may be telecommunications and espionage equipment meant to complete the construction of military and intelligence bases.
On the other hand, a human rights source confirmed that 21 lawyers would join a commission meant to defend Socotra, including three international lawyers.
He pointed out that the commission would file a lawsuit against the Saudi-backed Hadi puppet government for failing to fulfill its duty to protect Socotra Island.
This comes after news of the establishment of joint Emirati-Israeli military bases on the island, and the installation of a spy telecommunication station for the Israeli Navy on international shipping lines.
