At least two people were killed and a third one wounded on Thursday in artillery shelling in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.
This was reported by the Yemen News Portal, based on local sources. According to the sources, Islah Party factions targeted the al-A’qrudh’ area of Al-Wafi village, which is under the control of the Yemeni army and Popular Committees.
The latest crime comes in addition to a series of crimes committed by Islah since it took control of Taiz city several years ago. The city has been nearly constantly plagued by violence ever since.
