At least 13 citizens were wounded on Sunday as a result of shelling launched by Saudi-led aggression forces on several areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, a security official said.
According to the official, the aggression forces fired missiles and artillery shells at the 7 July neighborhood, leaving seven civilians from the same family wounded.
He added that the coalition-backed mercenaries launched bombardments at Al-Rabsah neighborhood in Hawak district, wounding three civilians, including a woman .
Moreover, a child, a woman and an elderly man were injured in the aggression forces attacks on al-Mangam village in the besieged al-Durayhmi distict.
On Saturday, a source in the Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room recorded 202 ceasefire violations committed by Saudi-led coalition forces over the past 24 hours.
The source said that among the violations were the creation of new combat fortifications in al-Jabaliya area and al-Durayhimi district, and the flight flying of 14 fighter jets and 16 spy aircrafts over Jabaliya, Faza, Kilo 16, al-Mandhar areas, Hays and al- Durayhmi districts.
He added the violations also included 63 breaches by artillery shelling and 109 breaches by various machine guns.
The source condemned the flagrant silence of the United Nations in the face of the continued military escalation of the forces of aggression in Hodeidah.
He held the UN envoy for Yemen responsible for the collapse of the Stockholm Agreement.
