A leaked video footage revealed that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has held undisclosed trial sessions for military personnel loyal to Hadi’s government.
Turkey-based Balqees TV reported that it had obtained a leaked video revealing a mass trial session in the southern Yemeni city of Aden, in which a number of Hadi military commanders that had been kidnapped by the UAE-backed STC forces are being tried.
Huda al-Sarari, head of the Defence Foundation for Rights and Freedoms has posted the video footage on her Twitter account showing part of the trial sessions of detainees in Aden, who have been arrested in connection with terrorism cases.

During the trial, the victims revealed the extent of the cruel treatment and torture to which they were subjected.
“Some of the detainees in Bir Ahmed do not have any files or records of collecting evidence to this day, (…) and the prosecution refuses to investigate them,” al-Sarari said, pointing out that they were not referred to the Criminal Court as they should have been.
This proves that they were arrested without charges.
The activist called on the Criminal Court in Aden to carry out its duty to uncover things because it is its moral and national responsibility.
