Office for Humanitarian Affairs blames Saudi-led war for worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen

The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen (OCHA) said on Wednesday that the war, which has extended for more than five years, has greatly contributed to exacerbating the suffering of citizens.

“It is time now to stop creating new risks,” OCHA added in a public message.

OCHA pointed out that the war, the fragile economy and lack of humanitarian funding are major factors that aggravated the vulnerability of millions of people in Yemen.

The five-year war in Yemen has caused the worst humanitarian crisis in the world today.
