Top member in the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has on Monday criticised the agreement to normalise diplomatic relations between Bahrain and the Israeli occupation entity, signed on Sunday.
“Bahrain’s normalisation is condemned, but its regime does not pose any threat, even if it had been at war with the [Zionist] entity,” he said.
He added: “But it is a crime that makes he who commits it a tyrant. His normalisation is condemned by a Qur’anic principle that does not accept interpretation or deviation.”
On Sunday, Bahrain and Israel signed a joint statement to formalise their relations, during a visit by a Zionist and US delegation to the Bahraini capital Manama.
