An armed gang assaulted on Tuesday the family of a person following up on a case of pedophilia in Rassail, Taiz province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The armed gang assaulted the family of Haitham Muqbil in an attempt to force him to stop pursuing the case and not to pursue the perpetrators of the crime of rape against the girl.
The sources confirmed that the wife and children of Haitham Muqbil were injured, in addition to damage their house.
