Millions of Yemenis are prepared to take part in mass rallies to commemorate the birthday of tje Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on Thursday afternoon in the capital Sana’a and several other provinces.

On October 19, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi called on all the Yemeni people to participate in the celebration of Prophet’s birthday, stressing that “the event of this year will be greater than any other years because of the awareness, determination and faith of the Yemeni people.”

The organising committees set 15 major squares to welcome millions of Yemenis commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the  provinces of  Saada, Hajjah, Hodeidah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Amran, Mahweit, Jawf, Bayda, as well as the central event in the capital, Sana’a.

The committee called on residents in the capital and Sana’a governorate to gather in the large mass in 70th Square, while the Revolution Sports Stadium was designated for the women’s event.

Mass crowds have been gathering since Wednesday, from various districts of Sana’a province and other provinces, coming to Sabaeen Square despite the difficult economic conditions.
