A delegation from Najran arrived at Sabaeen square in the Yemeni capital Sana’a, in order to participate in the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday.
Informed sources said a delegation from the Yam tribes in Najran arrived in the capital Sana’a to take part in celebrations on Thursday.
The delegation of the Najran al-Zawal tribes led and performed folk dances in the square as part of the celebrations for the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The Prophet’s birthday, known also als Mawlid al-Nabi, is not celebrated in Saudi Arabia, as it has been banned by Wahhabi authorities.
