The Interior Ministry of Yemen had announced on Saturday the killing of a key participant in the assassination of Minister of Youth and Sports Hassan Zaid.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed the killing of the criminal Mohammad Hanash, a member of terrorist cell operating in Maifah Ans district, Dhamar province.
The statement added that Hanash was killed after resisting a security campaign in Horour area in Maifah Ans.
Minister Hassan Zaid aged 66, was shot and killed on Tuesday morning in Hadda area in the capital Sana’a by criminal elements affiliated to the US-Saudi led aggression coalition.
Zaid’s daughter, who was driving the car he was in at the time of his assassination, was seriously wounded in the terrorist attack.
