An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale hit the southeast of the Yemeni island of Socotra, on Sunday evening.
The US Geological Survey said it had observed an earthquake in the western Arabian Sea at around 17:50 UTC+3 on Sunday.
The epicenter of the quake was located in the southeast of the Socotra archipelago, which has already been plagued by violence resulting from the Saudi and UAE occupation for years.
