The Yemeni ambassador to Iran, Ibrahim Al-Dailami, had on said he Sunday considered the reopening of the Iranian embassy in Sana’a a step towards strengthening the relations between the two countries.
In an exclusive interview with the Iranian ‘Al-Alam’ TV channel, Al-Dailami said “this step has broken many barriers and may encourage many countries that communicate with us in one way or another to reopen their embassies in Sana’a.”
Al-Dailami added that the “Republic of Yemen is a fait accompli that the world must respect and deal with,” indicating that the diplomatic relationship between Yemen and the Islamic Republic in Iran is normal.
“No one has the right at all to determine the type of international relationship established by the Republic of Yemen,” he stressed.
