A security leader loyal to the Saudi-led coalition was killed on Monday by unknown gunmen, in Abyan province, south of Yemen, local sources said.
According to the sources, the gunmen opened fire at on a car of Jamal al-Jadaani, a chief of al-hamr area police in Al-Wade’a district, who was assumed the rank of major.
The sources explained that al-Ja’adani died immediately, after receiving several fatal shots in various parts of his body, while the gunmen fled to an unknown destination.
