An academic teacher was assassinated on Saturday by unidentified gunmen in Yemen’s southern province of Dhalea, local sources reported.
According to the sources, gunmen on a motorbike opened fire at Dr. Khaled Al-Hamidi, dean of the Education faculty, in front of the educational complex gate of the province, and fled.
Dozens of gunmen deployed in Dhalea city after the assassination of Al-Hamidi, the sources said.
Last week, the province has seen an assassination against one of the soldiers affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
