Khalil al-Haya, a member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, has said that those behind the assassination of the scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh “will pay the price sooner or later, and those who mess with the fire burn with it.”
This came during his speech to the Palestinian Media Center.
“The aim of the assassination was to cut off any calm in the region and to block the Arab and Islamic nation from possessing the tools of force,” he said
He continued: “The assassination of this scientist is part of a series of assassinations of all scientific competence possessed by the Arab and Islamic nation, in favor of the Israeli occupation and colonial powers in this region.”
He stressed that the efforts of the negotiators with the Israeli occupation in the past nearly 30 years has not given the Palestinian people their rights.
He warned against the Palestinian Authority’s involvement in the process of settlement and normalisation with the Israeli occupation entity.
