Iranian ambassador to Yemen, Hasan Irlou, has commented on the US decision to enact economic sanctions against him.
The Iranian ambassador said: “I thank the gambler Trump, who in the last days of his presidency, insists on showing the true face of the US government.”
“Of course, while moving towards the goal of freeing the nations of the region from the Zionist and US control, we are not afraid of sanctions and martyrdom. We are proud of it,” he added.
In early November, Irlou submitted his credentials to Mahdi al-Mashat, the President of Yemen.
