Morocco becomes the latest Arab state to openly collaborate with Zionism

The outgoing President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has said that Morocco and Israel have agreed to establish full diplomatic relations

Trump also said the US would issue its recognition of Morocco’s claims on the Western Sahara, which appears to be the trade-off Washington has given to Morocco in exchange for recognition of Israel.

Trump said “Morocco recognized the United States in 1777, and it is appropriate to recognize its sovereignty over the Western Sahara.”

“Another historic achievement, two of our greatest friends, Israel and Morocco, have agreed on full diplomatic relations,” he said.

Jared Kushner, son-in-law and adviser to President Donald Trump, told reporters Thursday that the normalising of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel is” inevitable”.

“Israel and Saudi Arabia will come together, and full normalisation at this stage is inevitable. It is clear that the time frame will come and it must be determined,” he added.

Morocco has held the Western Sahara under military occupation since 1975. The occupation has been ruled as illegal by most of the international community, including the United Nations and the African Union. In 1976, independence activists proclaimed the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), which is officially recognised as the legitimate government of the Western Sahara by most nations on the African continent.
