Unidentified gunmen have on Thursday assassinated a recruit in the city of Seiyun, Hadhramaut province, southeast of Yemen, local sources said.
According to the sources, the militants opened fire on one of the recruits of the “First Military Region”, which is a militia loyal to the Islah Party, nearby Seiyun General Hospital.
The districts of Wadi Hadhramaut, which is under the occupation of the United Arab Emirates forces, have been witnessing major security chaos and assassinations, carried out by armed factions and aimed against military and security officers, as well as civilian targets.
