Senior mercenary leader wounded in clashes with Yemeni army

A high-ranking military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition has been wounded in confrontations with Yemen army forces in Taiz Province, southwest Yemen, local sources

According to the sources, the commander of the 5th Brigade, Adnan Raziq, was wounded in clashes with Yemeni army forces west of the province.

Radical Salafist leader Raziq was injured during an offensive attempt against the army forces in the Wadi al-Dhabab area, and has since transferred for treatment in an undisclosed location.

His fate and whereabouts are at present still unknown.
