Three wounded in mercenary infighting in Aden

At least three people were wounded on Friday when two groups of UAE-backed militias clashed in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, local sources said on Friday.

According to the sources, fierce clashes have broken out between forces of a security department and the Security Belt militias, both of which are loyal to the Southern Transitional Council (STC), in Mansoura district, following differences between the two sides.

Both sides used medium and light weapons in the clashes, leaving three people injured, one of the sources said.

Aden city has seen violent clashes and conflicts between Saudi-UAE coalition militants for years, with violent infighting wracking the Saudi-led invading coalition.
