At least 38 Taliban militants were killed in a security operation by Afghan forces in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar.
According to the Afghan Ministry of Defence, security forces targeted 38 Taliban fighters in the Argandab and Zahari districts of Kandahar province, as they planned attacks on Afghan national security forces.
38 #Taliban were killed in Zheria and Arghandab district of #Kandahar province, yesterday. They were planning to attack #ANDSF positions when they were targeted by ANA and AAF. Additionally, 3 strongholds and a large amount of their weapons and ammunitions were destroyed.

The Afghan security forces succeeded in destroying three Taliban positions and secured a large quantity of their weapons and ammunition.
