Yemen threatens to attack 10 targets within Saudi Arabia in the next 24 hours

Yemen’s National Salvation government on Monday threatened to strike ten vital and sensitive targets deep inside Saudi Arabia within the next 24 hours.

The move came during a press conference held in Sana’a by the Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, who also reviewed the achievements of the Armed Forces during the year 2020.

“We are ready to carry out these specific strikes on vital targets in Saudi Arabia within 24 hours if the leadership decides to do so,” Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said.

He noted that the missile forces had “fired 75 ballistic and winged missiles targeting Saudi Arabia, while another 178 missiles were fired at military positions belonging to coalition-backed forces in 2020.”

Sare’e confirmed that the air defence forces shot down a total of 67 fighter and reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the Saudi-led coalition in 2020.

During the past year, about 6,467 mercenaries of the invaders were killed and 8,899 injured, the military spokesman stated.

Regarding the airstrikes, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes carried out over 8,888 airstrikes on 13 different Yemeni provinces during the past year alone.
