Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi had called on US President Donald Trump to leave fro. power peacefully and recognise the electoral result of November 2020.
In a tweet on Thursday, Al-Houthi stressed the need for respect for the law and the constitution, and the desire of the American people to freely choose who governs them.

He pointed out that “the experience of American, British, Saudi, and Emirati (…) imposing those whom are rejected by the people, as is the case with Hadi and his mercenaries, has caused destruction, killing and famine.”
