Commander loyal to coalition survives assassination attempt in Hodeidah

Commander of the so-called “Al-Amaliqa Brigade” Mohammed Ali al-Salehi “Abu Osama” loyal to Saudi-led coalition survived  on Saturday an assassination attempt in the west coast in Hodeidah province.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources.

Abu Osama survived an assassination attempt when an explosive device went off while his military convoy was passing during his visit to the sites of the coalition militants in Al-Tuhita district, according to the sources.

The explosion did not cause any casualties, the sources added.

Observers suggest that comes within the continuation of targeting the Al-Amaliqa brigades’ commanders in the west coast by militants of Tariq Afash backed by the UAE and Tihama tribesmen.
