The Chilean Solidarity Council with Yemen on Thursday has strongly condemned the US designation of Ansarullah as a “Foreign Terrorist Organisation”, noting these measures came as a result of Trump’s failure in defeating the people of Yemen.
In a statement, the council said that “the US and their allies (UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Israel) have been practicing their terrorism through the mercenaries of different nationalities in the poorest and most devastated country in the region.”
The US accusing three leaders of Ansarullah movement would make it more difficult to reach a comprehensive solution for the ongoing crisis in the country, the statement read.
The biggest problem will be the reaction of humanitarian donors to maintaining financial aid for this humanitarian crisis, the problem on the health crisis caused by bombing of facilities and the blockade imposed on Yemen by Saudi-led aggression, the statement added.
The statement also denounced the continued selling of US weapon to the invading countries.
The countries that sell weapons in large volume to the invaders are Spain, Italy, France, Canada, the United States, and the UK.
Some of these nations are also delivering training courses and logistical support, especially the fighters, the statement said.
The council confirmed that “the Yemeni people have the right to defend their territory against the Saudi-led aggression.
Yemen has been subjected to a highly destructive aggression waged by the Saudi-led coalition since March 2015.The aggression has also caused mass displacement for thousands of families in several areas across Yemen.
Ansarullah is an important part of the Yemeni people and has support and endorsement of all the free people of the world, especially in Latin America.
