The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias have on Wednesday stormed workers’ dwellings in Mualla port, in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, and expelled the workers, local sources said.
The workers were expelled along with their families, and were replaced with people from Dhalea and Yafea areas by the armed militias.
This comes after employees, workers, retirees, and families of deceased workers at the port of Aden demanded that they be recompensed for the land they were robbed of by the STC militia.
