Palestinian prisoner held in Zionist jail dies under suspicious circumstances

A Palestinian prisoner held in an Israeli occupation has jails died on Thursday of so far unclear circumstances, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement.

According to the statement, Maher Deed Saasa, 45, a father of six children hauling from the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya, has died in prison.

It added that Saasa, who has been in prison since 2006 and was serving a 25-year prison sentence, received a coronavirus shot the day before his death, and was suffering from several chronic illnesses.

The statement held the Israeli occupation responsible for his death, just as for the life and wellbeing of all prisoners in its jails, Saasa’s issue held in Zionist jails.
