Activists around the world are organising an international campaign against the war and blockade of Yemen on this International Day of Action for Yemen, the largest to date. This happens in conjunction with massive marches that will take place today in 24 major squares in the capital Sana’a and 14 other provinces in Yemen.
The activists will hold demonstrations in dozens of capitals around the world, including Washington, London, Paris and others, in order to call for an end to the aggression against Yemen.
There will also be Twitter campaigns and an extensive online meeting of more than 700 people from 620 organizations worldwide to stand up against the aggression against Yemen.
Millions of Yemenis in the capital Sana’a and the rest of the provinces are preparing to go out this morning and afternoon in mass rallies entitled “The US blockade and aggression are a terrorist crime.”
The organising committees have set up 24 major squares in the capital Sana’a, and 14 other provinces for the rallies, calling on the free and honourable Yemeni people to come out and participate in the large-scale protest marches.
