The Supreme Political Council of Yemen affirmed on Thursday that, while the Republic of Yemen welcomes all sincere steps to bring peace, it will not cease to defend the right of the Yemeni people to live a decent life.
“Yemen will not allow the aggression to continue to multiply the suffering of the Yemeni people by preventing the arrival of oil derivatives amidst the silence of the international community, especially after many health and service facilities have stopped,” it added.
During the meeting of the Supreme Political Council headed by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, the Council praised all external solidarity with Yemen, as well as the public interaction of the Yemeni people against US terrorism.
The Supreme Political Council reiterated its condemnation of the US designation of Ansarullah as “terrorist organisation,” stressing that it reflects the crisis of the outgoing US administration and its utter failure in the region.
The council expressed its pride in what the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees are doing, and their permanent readiness to deter the aggression and its mercenaries.
