Yemeni students in Sudan have been holding a full sit-in since Monday evening, in front of the Yemeni embassy in Khartoum in order to demand the payment of their student benefits , Almawqea Post reported.
Najmeddine Al-Kahlani told the Almawqea Post that they and the head of the student union don’t intend to leave the embassy until their demands are met.
Walid al-Awa, president of the Yemeni Students’ Union in Sudan, said they have tried all means of appealing to the Hadi puppet government, but to no avail.
Yemeni students abroad continue to suffer as their dues have been delayed for months, prompting students and student unions to organise protests.
