Mohammed al-Houthi calls for international campaign against continued Saudi siege of Yemen

Top member in the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has called for an open electronic campaign calling for the lifting of the blockade on Yemen.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi affirmed that the Saudi-led coalition has deliberately cut Yemeni salaries and has closed off several sea, land and airports.

“The US-Saudi-UAE aggression deliberately cuts off salaries to prevents goods from entering unoccupied ports, prevents patients to travel abroad even to some countries of the aggression, such as Egypt and Jordan, prevents the arrival or departure of passengers, bars entry to Yemeni airspace, destroys airports and prevents access to them by air,” al-Houthi said.

He added: “I call for interaction through an open campaign under the hashtag #Yemen#besieged.”
